About The Position

We are seeking a Patient Care Coordinator to join our supportive and fast-paced dental practice in St. Paul, MN. This role plays a critical part in the daily success of our clinic and serves as the first impression for our patients. Professionalism, friendliness, and strong organizational skills are essential. This is an entry-level position, and training will be provided. Previous dental office experience is highly preferred but not required. Why Join Our Dental Team? Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required)
  • Previous customer service, front desk, or administrative experience preferred
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail when handling patient information and financial transactions
  • Comfortable using computers, scheduling systems, and Microsoft Office (dental software experience a plus; training provided)
  • Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA guidelines
  • Reliable, punctual, and a team-oriented team member

Nice To Haves

  • Dental office experience highly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Answer phones promptly and professionally and direct patient inquiries appropriately
  • Schedule appointments for doctors, dental therapists, and hygienists to ensure efficient provider schedules
  • Verify and update patient billing and insurance information with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Check in patients upon arrival while maintaining privacy, efficiency, and a welcoming environment
  • Update patient forms and scan documentation into patient charts
  • Coordinate interpreter services as needed to support patient care
  • Process incoming and outgoing requests including referrals, record transfers, prescription requests, head start forms, and post-operative calls
  • Process patient payments and ensure accurate posting to provider accounts
  • Maintain a clean, organized front desk and lobby area
