Requirements

• 12 months of customer service experience or 6 months of healthcare experience in a similar role is required.
• Preferred high school diploma or GED.
• A bachelor's degree or enrolled in a bachelor's program will be considered in lieu of experience.
• Ability to provide a high level of customer service.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Time management skills.
• Empathy for others.

Responsibilities

• Register and schedule appointments for new and established patients.
• Serve as the primary point of care for patients and their families.
• Schedule imaging and procedures within the local clinic.
• Schedule ancillary appointments.
• Complete patient data forms.
• Coordinate provider referrals.
• Retrieve medical records.
• Complete precertification authorizations as required.
