Requirements

  • At least 1 year related experience.
  • High school diploma or GED Required
  • Obtain Food Handlers Certification within 30 days of hire, and maintain current status thereafter.

Nice To Haves

  • At least 1 year related experience. Preferred

Responsibilities

  • Prepare patient trays according to specified diet order (includes condiments, cold and hot items)
  • Prepare patient meal trays to follow quality, presentation, item placement, and patient meal tray accuracy.
  • Deliver completed patient meal orders to patient rooms in a timely manner to meet department expectations; Following all required protocols including isolation and hand hygiene.
  • Navigate through multiple information systems simultaneously (CBORD and Tray Monitor)
  • Check diet discrepancies in diet order if prompted by Tray Monitor or CBORD.
