About The Position

VCA Kingwood Animal Hospital is looking for a caring and hardworking Patient Care Attendant (PCA) to join our team! This is the perfect role for anyone who wants hands-on experience with pets, whether you’re just starting your career or thinking about vet tech school down the road. What You’ll Do: As a PCA, you’ll be directly involved in caring for the pets who stay with us. You’ll make sure they’re safe, comfortable, and receiving the best care possible.

Requirements

Experience with animals is great, but we’re happy to train the right person
You’re dependable, energetic, and comfortable working around dogs and cats
You can lift up to 40 lbs and don’t mind being active all day
Teamwork is your thing—you’re flexible and willing to jump in where needed
Must be available for weekends, evenings, and holidays

Responsibilities

Feeding and walking dogs and cats
Keeping kennels, cages, and hospital areas clean and organized
Observing pets for any changes in behavior or health
Helping our veterinary team with animal handling when needed
Providing lots of love and attention to every pet in our care
Assist the Technical team
