About The Position
The Patient Care Assistant (PCA) in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) provides essential direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. This role is crucial in implementing care plans that address the physical, psychosocial, and spiritual needs of patients. The PCA is responsible for ensuring patient comfort and safety, performing daily living activities, measuring vital signs, and observing patient conditions.
