About The Position

The position assists nursing service personnel with a variety of patient care activities and related services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comfort of patients. Responsibilities include assisting with personal hygiene, taking vital signs, and changing bed linens. The role may also involve serving and collecting food trays, providing for between-meal nourishment, and cleaning, sterilizing, storing, and preparing other supplies. The position relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job and works under immediate supervision, typically reporting to a registered nurse or supervisor.
