About The Position

The Patient Care Associate is responsible for assisting patients with activities of daily living, providing basic care to acutely ill patients, and assisting in the maintenance of a safe and clean environment. This role also involves performing EKG's and Venipuncture as directed by the Registered Nurse. St. Joseph’s Health is a highly respected healthcare organization, recognized for its expertise and compassion, and is one of the largest employers in Passaic County. St. Joseph’s Wayne Medical Center, a 229-bed acute-care community hospital and a division of St. Joseph’s University Medical Center, provides comprehensive medical and surgical care, emergency and diagnostic services to residents of Wayne and northern New Jersey. The center treats over 150,000 patients annually and offers leading-edge clinical services including orthopedics, cardiology, an Acute Rehabilitation Unit, and the John Victor Machuga Diabetes Education Center.
