About The Position
The Patient Care Assistant (PCA) plays a crucial role in supporting the Registered Nurse in delivering patient care within the Post Anesthesia Care Unit. This position involves collecting patient data, providing personal care, performing point of care testing, and assisting with patient mobility and discharge planning. The PCA is also responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment, collaborating with Material's Coordinators, and ensuring that patients receive compassionate and competent care throughout their stay.
