About The Position
As a Patient Care Associate/Nursing Assistant in Adult Health Care/Med-Surg, you will find your purpose providing an array of medical services to care for patients.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED or equivalent work experience, including ability to read, write, and comprehend medical terminology
Nice To Haves
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), preferred.
Responsibilities
- Critical monitoring, like vital signs and glucose checks – so we can better assess their health
- Transport them to appointments and procedures – to get them the right care at the right time
- Assist with ADLs (activities of daily living) – these are things we often take for granted that patients may be unable to, or need help doing, themselves. ADLs include bathing, brushing teeth, toileting and more.
- Additional duties as requested.
