As the Patient Care Associate, under the direction of the RN, will provide safe, age-appropriate patient care. Requirements

  • Entry level knowledge; basic employment skills.
  • High School diploma: GED equivalent.
  • American Heart Association BLS.
  • Current Maryland CNA or GNA License.

Responsibilities

  • Fosters good communication with patients, families, nurses, and other team members.
  • With guidance and oversight of the Registered Nurse, performs duties to support the daily care of the patient.
  • Observes patient for reaction to treatments, change in status and immediately reports changes to appropriate personnel.
