About The Position
As a Patient Care Associate/Nursing Assistant in the Emergency Trauma Center, you will find your purpose providing an array of medical services designed to care for patients. Summary Critical monitoring, like vital signs and glucose checks – so we can better assess their health Transport them to appointments and procedures – to get them the right care at the right time Assist with ADLs (activities of daily living) – these are things we often take for granted that patients may be unable to, or need help doing, themselves. ADLs include bathing, brushing teeth, toileting and more. Additional duties as requested.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED or equivalent work experience, including ability to read, write, and comprehend medical terminology
- Must work a minimum of 2 shifts per month with one of those shifts being on a weekend
Nice To Haves
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), preferred.
