Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Current BLS (AHA) within 30 days of hire and maintain current
- Possesses knowledge of Medical Terminology
Nice To Haves
- Current Phlebotomy certification upon hire, preferred
- Current EKG certification upon hire, preferred
- Minimum six months previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician’s office preferred
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living
- Provide basic nursing care to all patients
- Assist in maintenance of a safe environment under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge of the team and/or unit
