The Opportunity: Patient Care Assistant–Thoracic/Vascular Surgery step down unit - Ellison 19 Ellison 19 is a thirty-bed unit committed to the care of patients recovering from Thoracic/Vascular Surgery. The patient population on this unit requires complex nursing care. Schedule - (3) 12 -hour shifts OR (3) 8-hour shift and (1) 12-hour shift - Day (7am-7pm, 7am-3pm), and Night (11pm-7am, 7pm-7am) - 36 hours per week - Rotational holiday and weekend schedule Job Summary Working under the direction of licensed personnel, assists patients with activities of daily living tasks such as bathing, dressing, and eating. Also assists with taking patients' temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration. Does this position require Patient Care? Yes
