The Patient Care Assistant position is part of the ICU Department and is a full-time working approximately 72 hours per two-week pay period, working primarily 6:45 AM- 7:15 PM. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required
Strong initiative, enthusiasm, and professionalism
Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently
Customer service oriented and able to work collaboratively as part of a healthcare team

Nice To Haves

Hospital and departmental experience preferred

Responsibilities

Provide patient care and perform non-professional services to meet the personal needs and comfort of patients
Use a systematic approach to assess patient needs and work collaboratively with nursing and ancillary staff
Adhere to all assigned standards and promote teamwork within the department
Perform other duties as assigned to support patient care and smooth ICU operations
