POSITION SUMMARY: Provides personal and basic care to patients in collaboration with the nursing staff. In addition to monitoring patient activities and behaviors to report timely concerns and ensure a safe environment. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Incumbent will be required to attain BLS certification; recertification required bi-annually.
- Incumbent must demonstrate an ability to apply age-appropriate principles of communication and clinical practice relevant to the age group(s) of patients assigned.
- Incumbent must demonstrate competence in the use of equipment and application of procedures before being allowed to perform independently.
