Patient Care Assistant
About The Position
Busy multi-specialty looking for a Patient Care Assistant (PCA) for the Pre-operative and Post operative areas. The PCA works under the direction of the RN and supports the RN with clinical tasks including but not limited to assisting with patient admission and discharge and responding to the needs of patients and family members. Tasks include but not limited to cleaning and turnover of patient bays/stretchers; transporting patients to their car via wheelchair; removal of trash/linen when full; managing inventory including putting away supplies; etc..
