Patient Care Assistant/Unit Secretary
About The Position
Performs a variety of direct and indirect patient care tasks to promote unit organization and smooth function under the direction of the Clinical Nurse Manager. Functions as a PCA and Unit Secretary. Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read, write and communicate in English
- Successful completion of Nurses Aide Program (or equivalent preparation)
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Must complete Non-violent Crisis Intervention Training on a bi-annual basis
Nice To Haves
- Current Nurse Assistant certification preferred.
- Prior experience is preferred as PCA/US
