About The Position

This is a paid, 10-day consecutive training program (Monday through Friday), designed for individuals without prior experience or certification as a Nursing Assistant. During the program, you’ll be hired into a temporary Patient Care Assistant (PCA) role, where you’ll assist clinical staff under supervision while completing 40 hours of training (plus 40 hours of orientation), including classroom instruction, skills lab, and clinical experience. Upon successful completion, you’ll transition into a full-time Patient Care Technician (PCT) position within our team. Works rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays as scheduled. Please note: Attendance for all 10 days is mandatory. Missing any portion of the training will result in forfeiting your spot, and re-enrollment is not guaranteed. This program is for internal training purposes only and does not qualify you to sit for the Iowa state nurse aide exam or work in long-term care settings.
