About The Position

McCullough-Hyde Hospital has recently affiliated with Tri-Health of Cincinnati. This is to fill 1 PRN PCA position. The PCA works under the supervision and guidance of the RN responsible for: taking Vital Signs, assisting with everyday activities such as bathing, dressing, eating, collecting specimens for tests and recording treatment. Responsible for communicating with the nurse and relaying vital information about their patients. Timely response to patient calls for assistance, greeting visitors and other hospital staff, assuring orderliness & availability of supplies/equipment.

Requirements

• Successful completion and passing test score of a State Tested Nurse Aide Training and Competency Evaluation Program
• A nursing student who has successfully completed one medical-surgical rotation or another acute care experience
• High School graduate or GED
• Completion of PCA specialty training and Hospital Specific Training

Responsibilities
