About The Position

The position is responsible for greeting patients both on the phone and in the clinic with a warm and friendly tone. The role involves the registration and interviewing of patients to gather accurate demographic and financial information while also scheduling appointments. Additional responsibilities may include returning messages, scheduling follow-up tests, managing referrals, and handling prior authorizations. The individual will assist patients, nurses, and providers in patient care within the clinic setting. This includes performing vital signs and obtaining the history of the chief complaint for each visit. The role also involves conducting various Point of Care Testing and ensuring quality control for each test completed.
