About The Position

Under the supervision of the Lead Patient Care Assistant (PCA), the PCA will observe and monitor client behavior and emotional status of those who seek refuge at Maryhaven's Engagement Center, Homeless Services. The PCA will assist clinical staff with documentation of charts, phone contracts, and other means in which to better aid the client. Will implement programmatic activities or events. The PCA will schedule meetings and provide safe transportation for clients. This position is included in a bargaining unit represented by SEIU.

Requirements

• Knowledge and skills at a level normally acquired through the completion of a High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Observe and monitor client behavior and emotional status.
• Assist clinical staff with documentation of charts and phone contracts.
• Implement programmatic activities or events.
• Schedule meetings for clients.
• Provide safe transportation for clients.
