About The Position

The Patient Care Assistant will be hired to work at either the Saint Marys Hospital or Rochester Methodist Hospital Campus. The Patient Care Assistant assists patient care unit staff with delegated tasks of direct and indirect patient care, which support nursing practice under the direct supervision of a registered nurse. Carries out designated activities that are within those functions limited by law to unlicensed nursing personnel. The skills and responsibilities of a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) align closely with those of a Patient Care Assistant (PCA) and Patient Care Technician (PCT), making this a great opportunity for those with CNA experience.

Requirements

• Experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or similar role

Responsibilities

• Assist patient care unit staff with delegated tasks of direct and indirect patient care
