About The Position
Roxborough Memorial Hospital, a member of Prime Healthcare, is a 131-bed community hospital that has been serving the medical and health care needs of the Roxborough, Manayunk, East Falls and northwest section of Philadelphia communities for over a century, since 1890. The hospital's School of Nursing has been educating nurses since 1898. Roxborough Memorial Hospital is accredited by the Joint Commission on the Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations. Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Current BLS (AHA) within 30 days of hire and maintain current
- Possesses knowledge of Medical Terminology
Nice To Haves
- Current Phlebotomy certification upon hire, preferred
- Current EKG certification upon hire, preferred
- Minimum six months previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician’s office preferred
Responsibilities
- Assists patients with activities of daily living
- Provides basic nursing care to all patients
- Assists in maintenance of a safe environment under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge of the team and/or unit
