Purpose: Assist with patient assistance program enrollment and management of patient assistance medications.

Requirements

  • CMA certification
  • Customer service experience
  • Experience working in the healthcare setting

Responsibilities

  • Works closely withthe clinicalstaffto complete,submit, and follow-up on the status ofpatientassistanceprogram applications.
  • Medication prior authorizations and denial process
  • Respond to patient phone calls and messagesregardingpatientassistanceprogram applications and medications.
  • Assistwith patientassistanceprogram re-enrollment
  • Transcribe medication orders andsubmittingmedication orders per protocol
  • As assigned by supervisor
