About The Position
The Thomson-Hood Veterans Center is looking for a self-motivated, energetic person, who possesses the skills and desires to care for Kentucky’s Veterans. The expectations for a Patient Aide I (Interaction Guide) including but not limited to: Good communications skills Good work ethics Critical thinking and problem solving Creativity Engage residents with activities Assist with meals Help to meet the physical and psychosocial needs of our Veterans. The ideal candidate will work within a team-centered environment to meet our commitment to serving Kentucky’s Veterans by fostering independence, preserving dignity, and providing compassionate care.
