About The Position

This position requires a thorough understanding of facility’s treatment program and philosophy. This individual must have an ability to coordinate and supervise the calls/emails that come in from a current patient’s family/loved one’s. Understand what the patients experience at Wilmington is like and can describe that to family.

Requirements

  • High school graduate with college degree preferred.
  • One-year experience in the substance abuse field.
  • Must exhibit excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Ability to work with male and female, adult (18-over) substance abuse/dually diagnosed population.

Responsibilities

  • This is a moderately complex position requiring the individual to serve as a primary link between the current patient family/loved ones to the clinical, nursing, and medical staff.
  • Must always be friendly and helpful on all phone calls with family and loved ones of current patients and resolution driven with great follow through.
  • Perform other functions and tasks as assigned.
