As a Patient Advocate on our Procedure Team, you will play a critical role in coordinating procedures and ensuring patients feel informed, supported, and confident throughout their care journey. You’ll work alongside a collaborative, patient-centered team that values professionalism, efficiency, and growth. We are seeking a bilingual (English/Spanish) Patient Advocate to join our Procedure Team at our headquarters in San Antonio, TX. This role is primarily responsible for coordinating and scheduling patient procedures and post-procedure follow-up appointments. This position is ideal for a compassionate, organized professional who thrives in a fast-paced medical environment and is passionate about delivering a smooth, positive patient experience. Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Location: Onsite | North San Antonio, TX (Airport Area) Dress Code: Scrubs or business casual

Requirements

  • Bilingual in Spanish and English strongly preferred
  • Medical Assistant certification or relevant clinical experience strongly preferred
  • Prior experience in patient scheduling, patient services, medical coordination, or healthcare administration required
  • Experience in pain management, personal injury, surgical scheduling, or procedure coordination preferred
  • Familiarity with EMR systems (Athena preferred)
  • Knowledge of ICD-10 coding is a plus
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional, dependable, and patient-focused demeanor

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and schedule patient procedures and post-procedure follow-up appointments
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for assigned patients throughout the procedure scheduling process
  • Maintain clear, professional, and timely communication with patients, providers, and internal teams
  • Manage and update tracking spreadsheets and scheduling systems daily
  • Document all patient interactions accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR)
  • Ensure patient records, scheduling details, and documentation are accurate and complete
  • Arrange patient transportation to and from procedures using Uber Health when needed
  • Collaborate closely with providers, clinical staff, and administrative teams to ensure seamless coordination of care
  • Uphold HIPAA compliance and protect patient confidentiality at all times
  • Support overall workflow efficiency and patient satisfaction within the Procedure Team
