Description: Wave is looking for a summer intern to join the Patient Advocacy team. Our team is responsible for communicating with external stakeholders about our company and our programs while also gathering critical insights to help inform Wave’s work. The team also collaborates with Human Resources to enable a well-informed and motived workforce. The Patient Advocacy team develops productive partnerships and facilitates dialogue with patient advocacy organizations centered around advancing mutual priorities and improving treatment, care, services and support for persons diagnosed with rare and common diseases. Community engagement activities are focused on seeking to better understand the experience of people living with rare and common diseases and identifying opportunities to support the community. The team partners closely with internal cross-functional stakeholders to integrate community insights into Wave’s programs, decision-making, and communications.
