About The Position

Patient Admissions Coordinator at Providence St. Joseph Medical Center in Burbank, CA. This position is Per Diem and will work <80>-hour, Variable shifts. Pre-Registers and registers patients presenting at the hospital for inpatient and outpatient services. Conducts patient/guarantor interviews, explains hospital policies, as well as explains patient financial responsibilities. Facilitates the patient admissions flow, including activities such as: patient identification, identification of accurate demographics and insurance information, and collection of required signatures and documents. Provides information and answers questions regarding Providence's financial assistance programs. Ensures account is financially secured prior to patient leaving registration area. Requirements

  • H.S. Diploma or GED

Nice To Haves

  • 1 year of Registration, insurance or medical office experience.
  • 1 year of Customer service or similar job related experience.
