About The Position

The Patient Administrative Scheduling Associate, through communication, requisitioning and management of supplies and equipment, coordinates the activities of the nursing staff, the patient, the physician, other hospital departments and visitors. The Patient Administrative Scheduling Associate performs general receptionist and clerical duties in order to facilitate efficient functioning of the nursing unit.

Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent, additional education preferred.
  • One-two years of administrative experience is preferred.
  • Requires good keyboarding and PC skills
  • Requires good communication and telephone skills
  • Requires knowledge of medical terminology
  • Requires proficiency in use of various office machinery
  • Must be able to multi task and set priorities
