Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in Microsoft Office tools.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in patient billing preferred.
• Epic experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for daily billing functions including working claim edits and reviewing insurance claims for accuracy.
• Contact various parties for further information on unpaid claims.
• Identify issues resulting in non-payment and work first level appeals in compliance with departmental policies and procedures.
• Display knowledge retention through scheduled competency assessments.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
