The cornerstone services for KH Miamisburg have been Bariatric surgeries and Orthopedic care. Expanded services include emergency care, sleep center, mammography, breast MRI, cardiac catheterization lab, wound center, and DEXA scanning. Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in Microsoft Office tools.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in patient billing preferred.
• Epic experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of the Patient Accounts Manager or Supervisor, responsible for daily billing functions including working claim edits.
• Review insurance claims for accuracy.
• Contact various parties for further information on unpaid claims.
• Identify issues resulting in non-payment.
• Work first level appeals in compliance with departmental policies and procedures.
• Display knowledge retention through scheduled competency assessments.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
