About The Position

Responsible for following up on hospital accounts in an accurate and timely manner and follows guidelines that result in the most complete reimbursement possible and possess knowledge of payor guidelines. Working knowledge of insurance and managed care industries required. Basic medical diagnosis and procedure coding knowledge preferred. Medical terminology knowledge preferred.
Eligible remote states include NC, FL, GA, SC, SD, TN, TX and VA.

Requirements

• Working knowledge of insurance and managed care industries required
• High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
• 1 Year Accounting/Finance - Billing In Healthcare Required

Nice To Haves

• Basic medical diagnosis and procedure coding knowledge preferred
• Medical terminology knowledge preferred
• Associate's Degree Accounting Preferred
• 3 Years Accounting/Finance - Billing Preferred
