About The Position
The Patient Account Specialist is responsible for billing and collecting patient cost share balances from third-party claims and self-pay claims. This role involves generating and mailing patient statements, initiating collection calls, and responding to inquiries from patients regarding their billing status. The specialist will research and resolve complex billing issues while collaborating closely with Financial Counselors and Customer Service personnel to ensure a positive patient experience.
