About The Position

Responsible for contacting consumers / insurance providers/ attorneys in order to negotiate payment arrangements on aged or high balance debt, while following federal, state and client and collection agency guidelines and laws. Must represent the department with professional and ethical work standards consistent with the mission and management of the company. Estimated pay range for this position is $18.32 - $23.82 / hour depending on experience.

Requirements

• High School,Cert,GED,Trn,Exper.
• Two years experience in healthcare billing and/or collections required.
• Extensive Knowledge of CPT and ICD 10 CM Codes.
• Ability to interpret billing procedures and EOB's.
• Experience in Governmental, Third Party and PIP payers.
• Knowledge of Governmental legal and regulatory provisions related to collection activities.
• Ability to organize and reconcile data.
• Minimum Required Experience: 1 Year

Nice To Haves

• Two+ years post high school education preferred.
