Patient Account Specialist - Toledo
About The Position
As the Patient Account Specialist, you serve as an ambassador for patients who call with questions regarding their billing statement. You will resolve any issues to ensure patients have a positive experience. You will verify insurance benefits as needed and identify enrollment issues and look at available coverage. In this role you will identify deductibles, out-of-pocket expenses, co- payments and other payor-driven items. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must have medical billing or customer service experience in a physician, hospital , home health or hospice environment
