About The Position

The Patient Account Specialist is responsible for providing exceptional support
to patients, providers, and other stakeholders by handling inquiries, resolving
issues, and ensuring a positive experience throughout their interactions with
the Great Falls Clinic and Hospital. This role requires strong communication
skills, a thorough understanding of healthcare processes, and a commitment to
maintaining confidentiality.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Experience in Hospital (Acute) collections and billing
• Minimum two (2) years hospital healthcare business office experience required.
• Read, write and speak fluent English.
• Basic accounting, intermediate computer and office equipment knowledge.
• Medical Terminology and coding knowledge helpful.
• Knowledge of payer requirements and programs which the patient may be eligible.
• Perform repetitive processes with speed and accuracy.
• Strong interpersonal relations and customer service skills.
• Basic typing and 10 key.
• Problem solving and attention to details.
• Prioritized time management.

Nice To Haves
