As we continue to expand our services in 2026, Lenape Valley Foundation (LVF), a leading nonprofit organization dedicated to improving mental health and wellness across Bucks County, is seeking an experienced Patient Accounts Representative to join our growing team. This position is onsite for first 90 days for training and integration with a potential for a hybrid schedule once training is complete.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 2 years of experience in behavioral health or nonprofit healthcare billing, including:
Insurance verification and eligibility review
Patient financial communication and customer service
Team-based collaboration in a revenue cycle environment
Experience with Medicaid, Medicare, and commercial insurance
Familiarity with Electronic Health Records (EHR) and practice management systems
Ability to meet the physical requirements of the role, with or without accommodation

Responsibilities

Perform insurance verification and eligibility checks
Develop a working knowledge of LVF payer contracts and billing workflows
Provide support and training to registration, check-in, and other patient accounts staff.
Populate and maintain accurate client insurance information into the Electronic Health Record
Respond to patient billing inquiries with professionalism and empathy
Contribute to efficient revenue cycle management and compliance standards
Carry out additional tasks and responsibilities as directed by the supervisor
