About The Position

Are you passionate about helping others and ready to make a difference close to home? Coulee Medical Center is seeking a Patient Account Representative to join our dedicated and tight-knit billing team. This position focuses primarily on commercial insurance claims and supports both our Critical Access Hospital and Rural Health Clinic.

Requirements

• Medical billing or patient accounts experience preferred, but we are happy to train the right candidate
• Commercial insurance billing experience strongly preferred
• Strong attention to detail and customer service skills

Nice To Haves

• CAH and/or RHC billing experience is a plus
• Experience with Cerner and SSI is a plus

Responsibilities

• Submit and follow up on commercial insurance claims
• Resolve claim denials, errors, and payment issues
• Communicate with insurance carriers
• Support patients and families with kindness and clarity
• Work side-by-side with a team that is here for each other
