About The Position

The Receptionist/Patient Account Representative plays a key role in providing the highest quality of patient care while the patient is in at Union Medical Group. As a receptionist you will be the welcoming face and voice that greets patients with care. Requirements

Previous medical office/clerical experience preferred.
Ability to multitask.
Computer knowledge
Must be accountable, self-directed, and possess great interpersonal and customer service skills.

Nice To Haves

Previous EMR experience preferred.
Knowledge of medical terminology helpful.

Responsibilities

Greeting and welcoming patients with a friendly attitude.
Answer incoming calls, take messages, and route calls appropriately.
Verify and update patient demographic and insurance information.
Schedule and cancel patient appointments, prepare, and maintain medical records.
Process transactions and reconcile cash with charges, assist patients with account inquiries and payment arrangements.
Provide training to new employees and perform other assigned duties.
