The Patient Account Representative for Granger Medical Clinic is a vital role within the Medical Billing department, responsible for managing patient inquiries regarding their medical bills. This position requires excellent customer service skills, as the representative will assist patients with the submission and payment of claims. The role is designed for individuals who are eager to learn and grow within the medical billing field, and while prior medical billing experience is preferred, entry-level candidates with a background in medical customer service are encouraged to apply. The position is based in Taylorsville, Utah, and operates on a full-time schedule from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. In this role, the Patient Account Representative will greet patients in a courteous manner, answer phone calls professionally, and communicate effectively with physicians, clinic staff, and patients regarding billing questions. The representative will also follow up with denial representatives and medical coders to ensure claims are reviewed and rebilled as necessary. Strong organizational skills, the ability to multitask, and proficiency in typing are essential for success in this position. The representative must be a team player who enjoys working with people and can effectively communicate in English, with Spanish language skills being a plus but not required.
