About The Position

Reporting to the Director of Patient Financial Services, this position is responsible for accurate insurance and self-pay billing, and follow-up . Ability to meet all job & physical requirements as outlined in job description or as agreed through a work place accommodation EDUCATION/TRAINING/ EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. One year of current hospital collection/billing experience preferred. Knowledge of government billing, stop loss adjudication language, insurance appeals process, and RAC audits preferred. Computer skills preferred. CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES: None.
