About The Position
Responsible for the account billing and posting of clinic, hospital and nursing home charges for all physicians on a daily basis.
Requirements
- HS Diploma or GED equivalent
- Medical Billing and ICD-9 and CPT coding experience preferred
- Must be computer literate
- Excellent customer service/interpersonal communication skills
- Detail oriented
- Must know basic principals of accounting, balancing accounts, computer generated reports, HIIPA regulations and insurance practices and general office operations
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Detail orientation
- Good deductive reasoning
- Good with public; empathy for patients
- Collaborates with others; strong team builder
- Accepts authority and follows instructions well
- Performs duties in a self-directed manner with minimal supervision or direction
