At FutureCare, our Patient Account Coordinators play a crucial role in ensuring that all necessary requirements are met for the facility to receive payment for services rendered. This position is primarily focused on Accounts Receivable and Patient Accounts, encompassing a variety of duties and responsibilities that are essential for the day-to-day review, input, processing, and coordination of billing and receivable information between the facility and the Corporate Office. The Patient Account Coordinator will be responsible for performing verification of medical insurances, inputting, reviewing, and maintaining admissions data, and conducting daily census reporting. Additionally, this role involves completing monthly Accounts Receivable reviews and communicating outstanding balances with residents, responsible parties, or powers of attorney as required. The coordinator will also prepare and issue collection letters, including follow-up calls as needed, and maintain resident funds accounts in accordance with State Comar regulations. It is imperative to maintain resident information confidentially by adhering to HIPAA compliance standards and ensuring the timely and accurate completion and submission of all State Medicaid applications.
