This role ensures patients are efficiently checked in for procedures, surgeries, and emergency room visits, while maintaining accuracy in patient information, insurance validation, and billing processes. The Team Lead serves as a resource for Patient Access staff, assists Care Team Members and the Patient Access Supervisor, and provides leadership coverage as assigned. Although not a clinical role, the Patient Access Team Lead plays a vital part in ensuring smooth hospital operations and a positive patient experience.
