About The Position

Aspire Rural Health Systems is seeking a full-time Supervisor of Patient Access to work in our Patient Access department. We are looking for those with a great attitude to join our dedicated team of healthcare professionals who are constantly striving to provide our patients with the highest quality of services.

Requirements

• Previous registration/customer service/scheduling experience in a healthcare facility preferred.
• Medical terminology and basic mathematical skills required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Excellent communication skills both oral and written.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for leading and supervising Patient Access staff who are responsible for registering outpatient services, admissions and emergency department visits.
• Ensure accurate demographic, insurance, and physician information is obtained.
• Ensure staff are asking for upfront payments from patients with estimates created.
• Review registration accuracy data to ensure staff are trained properly.
• Produce monthly statistical reports and review for any trends.
