The Patient Admission Supervisor oversees the daily operations of hospital patient access and admissions functions, including registration, insurance verification, pre-authorization, point-of-service collections, scheduling support, and financial counseling. This role ensures the accuracy of patient information, regulatory compliance, and a high standard of customer service while supporting overall revenue cycle performance. Provides operational supervision, staff training, workflow analysis, and quality oversight to promote efficient and effective departmental processes. Monitors productivity and performance metrics, supports data management and reporting, and collaborates with clinical departments, billing, and case management to optimize patient flow and financial clearance. Maintains confidentiality while fostering positive staff and patient relations.
