The Patient Access Supervisor is responsible for providing guidance and mentoring to new and existing staff in their daily work efforts and proper handling of accounts. This role includes daily support, mentoring, and training for Patient Access staff, managing escalated issues, and assisting in the preparation for both short and long-range planning recommendations for all Registration Process areas. The supervisor maintains positive customer service, enforces departmental policies, and monitors daily activity and performance reports. Additionally, the supervisor performs all Patient Access functions as needed and acts as part of the management team to ensure operational goals are met.
