About The Position

As a Patient Registration Representative, you will be the first point of contact for patients checking into the hospital. This role requires compassionate customer service, accuracy, and the ability to stay calm and supportive in a fast‑paced clinical environment. You’ll gather important information, answer questions, and help patients feel at ease during what may be a stressful time.

Responsibilities

Greet patients and assist them through the hospital check‑in and registration process.
Work across multiple computer systems and screens to enter patient and insurance information accurately.
Answer incoming calls and respond to questions while managing a steady flow of patient interactions.
Support clinicians by pausing registration when urgent medical needs arise.
Build rapport quickly with patients who may be anxious, ill, or unsure of the process.
Navigate variations in insurance plans with training and guidance.
Stay on your feet much of the day, assisting patients in person while maintaining workflow efficiency.
