About The Position

At St. Luke’s, our dedicated team of Patient Access Specialists strive to build a positive, supportive, and inclusive culture that delivers exceptional patient experiences. This customer service position is often the first person a patient encounters when entering the St. Luke’s Magic Valley hospital . This important role supports exceptional interactions to ensure professional, timely and accurate written and verbal communication with both patients and caregivers (both in person and by phone). Shift Details : Saturday-Monday 1600-0230 (4pm-2:30am) What you can expect from this role: Registration, scheduling, and referral coordination for patients Discussions on financial options and/or explanations of insurance coverage, including authorizations, verifications, and estimates Use a variety of technologies, tools and resources to support departmental workflows Other duties as assigned At St. Luke’s, caring for people in the communities we serve is our mission – and this includes our own SLHS team.
